Nothing Ever Happened

It is said that "there is no world and nothing ever happened". What's that got to do with Self-Realization?

Notionally, consciousness has two modes of being. Manifested and Unmanifested. But they are concurrent and not separate. They are not two. There is no division or movement between them.

Within this paradigm, all that can be experienced, including thoughts, emotions, and perception of any kind in any dimension, physical and beyond, is called the Manifested.

As the Unmanifested, Consciousness is pure potential and thus can be said to be the source of the Manifested. It is dimensionless, thus timeless and spaceless. Thus there is no world and nothing ever happened, or is happening or will happen. It is ever-present perfect stillness brimming with life.

This is a description of how things are now and at all times. Consciousness IS.

It is not the case that we are going to be free when “there is no world and nothing ever happened”. That is a misunderstanding. It is the intellect making a projection. Enough of projections. Let go of these ideas.

We have to discern when the ego is playing tricks and using spiritual ideas such as this to project happiness “outside the manifestation”, “outside the dream” or “beyond” or in “heaven”, etc. As if the Manifestation was a problem in itself. And to solve that problem we would abandon it and go into the Unmanifested. That is imagination and over-intellectualization and is probably a sign of depression or boredom.

It is better to acknowledge one is simply unhappy and then focus on psychology, to begin with. We have to be aware of where thoughts come from in the personality. Use the right tool for the problem at hand and leave the Unmanifested and the Manifested alone.
