Nonduality, Advaita. The end of suffering.

The Janitor

Before awakening happens we are seekers. After awakening happens we are janitors. The term seeker is no longer apt and points in the wrong direction.

If we must entertain a concept of self, seeker is the wrong one, for what should be obvious reasons, after awakening. The seeker seeks something. Awakening has made it clear that what was sought is nothing.

Instead of seeking self-realization seek a brush, soap and a bucket. Put your janitor uniform and do what janitors do. There is no other requirement from this personality and body.

The way of denial is not some abstract notion that spiritual people can pick and choose from the esoteric library shelf. If only we could!

The way of denial is what is required after awakening happens. It is a known pattern in spiritual development.

If awakening has happened and there is no longer the inclination to do anything for spiritual realization, great!

If there is a felt need do then the right tool is a broom, not books. Mind you, you may need to find someone who will teach you to use it and make sure you sweep under the rugs as well.

Nonduality, Advaita. The end of suffering.
