The commitment to truth doesn’t go well with the allegiance to a corrupt master, which 99.9% of politicians seem to be evidence of. It is worse if the one we have elevated to a pedestal is soft-spoken and well mannered, or is our friend or family. But a half-truth is still a lie. With its awareness, a choice becomes necessary. A painful karmic lesson, no doubt.
