When we are seekers we wait for the time when something may die. We explain it in numerous ways but we do not know what it is that will die. When it dies it becomes clear that the seeking and the entire conceptual framework of spirituality was based on a projected imaginary state. That imaginary state is what dies. It is a natural law that it cannot be resuscitated.
The “I” concept is Consciousness in mental form. There is no “I” that can be in any state. The experience of individuality is Consciousness in essence. The state of “I and Consciousness” as two, dies. Thought ceases to be mistaken by other than what it actually is. Rivers are rivers, mountains are mountains, valleys are valleys, and whether I am, or am not, seems to be relevant only to those who think about it.
